• The Oatey® Freestanding Tub Drain Kit removes the guesswork and complexity from installing a freestanding/island center or offset tub. Simply connect the drain to the DWV system from above the floor at rough-in — only a 4 in. subfloor hole is needed. The compact, universally compatible drain works with brass or Schedule 40 tailpieces and easily connects to any plumbing configuration. Included in the kit are a pre-installed, tool-free quarter-turn leak test plug and an easy-to-grab protective cap to prevent drain tile-over.
