to Creation.

We translate your design vision into production-ready specifications — collaborating with your creative team and our network of expert manufacturers to bring every piece to life, exactly as imagined.
Overview

Turning Vision Into
Tangible Product

Product development is where great sourcing begins. Whether you come to us with detailed technical drawings, a mood board, or simply an idea, our team works closely with your designers and creative directors to develop pieces that are both beautiful and manufacturable.

We manage every aspect of the development process — from material selection and factory matching to prototype oversight and sample review — so your team stays focused on design while we handle the complexity of production.

How It Works

The Development
Process

01

Brief & Discovery

We begin with a thorough creative brief — understanding your aesthetic, technical requirements, target materials, finishes, dimensions, and budget parameters. Mood boards, reference images, and CAD files all welcome.
02

Factory Matching

Based on the brief, we identify the most suitable manufacturers from our vetted network — matching by material speciality, production capability, capacity, and quality track record.
03

Prototype & Sampling

We oversee prototype development, manage all factory communication, and coordinate sample delivery for your review. We handle revision rounds until every detail meets your specification.
04

Production Sign-Off

Once samples are approved, we prepare production-ready technical packs — material specs, finish guides, QC checkpoints, and packaging requirements — and hand off to production with full documentation.
Why It Matters

What You Gain Working
With Our Team

Truly Custom Pieces

No off-the-shelf compromises. Every piece is developed to your exact specification — dimensions, materials, finishes, and details that match your project vision perfectly.

Faster Turnaround

Our on-the-ground relationships with factories eliminate weeks of back-and-forth. We manage all communication, so sampling and revisions move at pace.

Design Team Integration

We work directly with your interior designers, architects, and creative directors — speaking their language and translating design intent into manufacturable reality.

Full Documentation

Every development project concludes with a complete technical pack — ensuring production consistency across batches, reorders, and multi-vendor projects.

No Minimum Orders

We work with factories that can accommodate small development runs for sampling and prototyping, with no obligation to commit to large production volumes upfront.

IP Protection

We take intellectual property seriously. NDAs, design protection agreements, and exclusive factory arrangements are available to protect your proprietary designs.

Common
Questions

Can’t find your answer? Reach out directly and our team will respond within 24 hours.
What do you need from us to start product development?
We work with whatever you have — from detailed technical drawings and CAD files to mood boards and reference images. The more detail you can provide, the faster we can move. At minimum, we need a sense of the aesthetic direction, target materials, and approximate dimensions. We’ll fill in the gaps through our discovery process.
How long does the development and sampling process take?
Timelines vary by product complexity and material. Simple furniture pieces typically take 4–8 weeks from brief to first sample. More complex items with custom hardware, upholstery, or multi-material construction can take 10–16 weeks. We’ll provide a realistic timeline during our initial consultation.
Can you develop products in multiple categories for the same project?
Absolutely. We regularly manage multi-category development projects for hospitality clients — developing furniture, lighting, décor, and door pieces simultaneously across different factories, while maintaining a cohesive design language throughout.
Do you charge for product development services?
Our fee structure depends on the scope of the project. For clients who proceed to production, development fees are typically absorbed into our project management retainer. We’ll outline the full cost structure clearly during our initial proposal — no hidden fees.
What if the first sample doesn't meet our standards?
Revision rounds are a normal part of the development process. We manage all feedback with the factory on your behalf and coordinate revised samples until you’re satisfied. If the factory cannot meet your standards after multiple attempts, we’ll identify an alternative manufacturer.
