No Surprises
at Destination.

Our multi-stage factory inspection program ensures every piece meets your specification before it leaves the production floor — with photographic reports, material testing, and dimensional verification at every critical checkpoint.
Overview

Quality Built Into
Every Stage

Quality failures discovered at destination are expensive, disruptive, and damaging to client relationships. The only reliable way to prevent them is rigorous, multi-stage inspection on the factory floor — before products are packaged and shipped.

NUSA SOURCING’s QC program is not a box-ticking exercise. Our inspectors are experienced, detail-oriented professionals who understand material standards, construction quality, and finish requirements across furniture, lighting, décor, and architectural products.

How It Works

The QC
Inspection Process

01

Pre-Production Check

Before production begins, we verify that raw materials, components, and hardware meet specification. Early-stage checks prevent issues from being baked into the entire production run.
02

During Production (DUPRO)

Mid-production inspections check workmanship, construction quality, and finish consistency on a sample of units while production is still active — allowing corrections without delaying shipment.
03

Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)

When production is 80–100% complete, our inspectors conduct a thorough final inspection — dimensions, finish, function, packaging, and carton marking — against your approved samples and specifications.
04

Inspection Report & Sign-Off

We issue a detailed QC report with photographic evidence within 24 hours of inspection. Shipment is only authorised after your sign-off — or after confirmed corrective action for any findings.
Why It Matters

What Rigorous QC
Protects You From

Costly Destination Failures

Defective goods discovered at destination mean return shipping, replacement production, and project delays — all preventable with proper factory-floor inspection.

Photographic Reports

Every inspection is fully documented with photographs of passed and failed items, measurements, and inspector notes — giving you a complete audit trail for each order.

Specification Compliance

We verify every dimension, finish, hardware specification, and material against your approved samples — not the factory's interpretation of your spec.

Packaging Validation

We verify that packaging meets your guidelines and is adequate for the shipment method — drop tests, carton integrity, and labeling compliance all checked before loading.

Real-Time Issue Resolution

When our inspectors identify issues, we immediately work with the factory on corrective action — and re-inspect to confirm resolution before approving shipment.

Experienced Inspectors

Our QC team has deep expertise in furniture, lighting, and décor categories — understanding what to look for in joinery, upholstery, finishes, and hardware that generalist inspectors miss.

FAQ

Common
Questions

Questions about our QC process or inspection standards? We’re happy to explain in detail.
Can you perform QC on orders at factories you didn't source?
Yes. We offer standalone QC inspection services for clients who have their own factory relationships but need independent, professional on-the-ground inspection. We simply need your approved samples, specifications, and packaging guidelines to conduct a complete inspection.
How quickly do we receive inspection reports?

Inspection reports are issued within 24 hours of the inspection date. For urgent situations requiring same-day reporting, we can accommodate with advance notice. Reports include all findings, photographic evidence, measurements, and a clear pass/fail summary.

What happens if an inspection fails?
If an inspection results in a fail or conditional pass, we work immediately with the factory on a corrective action plan — documenting the required fixes and timeline. We then conduct a re-inspection to verify corrections before shipment authorisation is granted. The factory bears the cost of corrections for specification failures.
Do you test materials and structural integrity?
Yes. For furniture, we conduct basic structural and load testing as part of our standard inspection. For products requiring certified laboratory testing (ANSI/BIFMA, EN standards, REACH compliance etc.), we can coordinate third-party lab testing and certification as an additional service.
